"Ah, crap." I sighed, blue flashing lights filled my Ninja. I grumbled and pulled over.
"I was only doing 10 over." The authoritative figure stepped out and approached like all cops approach. Slow, stalling to freak you out to see if you have anything illegal in the car, or are just plain stupid. He leaned down and I rolled down the window and grumbled again.
"Ma'am, do you re...."
"Manamanah! Do do dododo! Manamanah!" my stereo interrupted. A look of utter shock painted itself over his law enforcing face. I just shrugged.
"What? So I speed to the Muppets."

i know everyone tells you this, but i don't think i've ever sat down and really said it. i love your writing. remember eighth grade when you won that award? and martone said you had a way of wriggling into character's minds? this is it. you have such an imagination: you can picture a scene and accurately put it into words. i lost that imagination with eighth grade graduation. stupid me, i thought i was better than youth. gosh.
the only suggestion i have is in the line "slow, stalling..." it's a bit wordy and awkward to speak. something like "slowly, stalling enough to freak you out. that way you can scramble to hide anything illegal, and sob over your stupidity."
